Gardening practices and problems appropriate to the time of year are discussed in a relaxed and supportive way. Videos are occasionally shown.
Several expeditions are made, from outings to local and regional garden centres, famous gardens and national flower shows, to holidays at home and abroad – all based around garden visits. In the summer time, we tend to visit members' gardens too, who invite us, but it is not compulsory to be a host.
