We are a friendly and informal group who blow the cobwebs away with a spot of Scottish Country Dancing, the emphasis being on exercise and enjoyment of both dance and music.
An enthusiastic group has enjoyed being introduced to a variety of new music and dances, including the less energetic Strathspeys. Learning new dances is also a workout for the mind as we are reminded to ‘think ahead’ - that seems to be more difficult than it sounds! We may not be “step perfect” but we get real pleasure from our achievements on the dance floor and look forward to improving our skills in 2023.
