Art Workshop

This group allows members to draw, colour, paint or sketch whatever project they are currently working on; and is suitable for all abilities. The group meets every Thursday morning (apart from August) between 9.30 am and noon in the Church Rooms of St Just Methodist Church.

This group is currently run by Christine Bishop. Please contact Secretary for further information. No formal training is given at these meetings but artists among the members are willing to help those just starting out.

It is hoped to have a couple of outings to local viewpoints to sketch what you see later in the summer (obviously weather dependent). The idea is that these sketches are worked up afterwards in the weekly sessions.

Members use their own equipment as none is provided by the U3A.

Novices and people who would just like to have a go are always welcome, and all you need to start is a sketch book and pencils/crayons. Come along and have a go.
