Lancing & Sompting

Sewing Group

The group is jointly led by Sue Anthony and Mary Hill, for more information about this group click on the bird to the right.

Meetings are held on the 3rd & 4th Mondays of the month, at the Harriet Johnson Centre, Loose Lane, Sompting, from 9.30am - 12.30pm.

This is a friendly group where members share ideas and expertise and enjoy learning new techniques. We also work on smaller projects, as a group and individually. The group has been very successful and is currently full.

The group has held raffles at several of the U3A's annual Exhibition of Work, with the proceeds donated to charity. Past prizes have included a variety of high quality handmade items, such as quilts, wall hangings, patchwork animals, bags, etc.
