Kinver

History

Kinver U3A History Group meets TWICE a month. On the SECOND Monday of the month we meet at a previously appointed venue and depart to a chosen place of interest. Times may vary depending on the distance. Please check the website in advance. The visit might be to an historical site of note or a planned walk around a nearby town with an historical past etc. We use the bus, train or a car share system that was devised by the Group and we normally have lunch during or at the end of our event.

On the FOURTH Monday of the month we meet at Kinver Fire Station; DY7 6EW for an 11.45am start. We have talks on many aspects of history; monarchs, famous figures, historical events etc, followed by a Group discussion and refreshments. Members might take an active part by leading a visit or presenting a talk of their choice. Alternatively they just come along to listen and enjoy.

If you would like to view our planned programme please visit the EVENTS section of this website. For any further details please contact Peter Bates our History Group Leader on 01384 401595 or 07474187367. He looks forward to hearing from you
