Kington U3A holds a monthly meeting at 2pm on the second Thursday of the month at Lyonshall Memorial Hall, Lyonshall, Kington HR5 3LL. The meeting concludes at 4pm. We do not hold meetings January or August.
The monthly meeting is an opportunity for all members to meet together enjoy some good company, refreshments and a guest speaker. The subjects recently have included:- Max Keen - Oliver Cromwell - Royal executioner or "Our chief of men", "The Vale of Berkley Railway" and "How the Stagecoach changed our area," It is hoped that from the wide range of subjects something will be of interest to everyone. There is a fee of £2 for members. Guests are welcome to see if it suits your needs at a fee of £4. The fees are necessary to cover room hire and refreshment costs. Guests joining on their day of visit will be credited £3 towards their membership.
The subscription fees are £20 per person per annum.
