Overview
The Singing for Fun group meets fortnightly and now numbers over forty. It is a mixed-voice choir and sings all types of music. You do not need to read music nor pass an audition to belong to the choir. You do need a sense of humour and to take a relaxed attitude towards singing. We work hard to attain a decent standard, but the accent is on fun and we do a lot of laughing as well. We believe that many people can sing in spite of having been told in their youth that the opposite is true, and a number of our members have found a real release in singing for fun.
