Bird Watching

Group Leader: John Langford

We meet once or twice a month. Contact leader or see dates on website for next meeting. In 2020 we will normally meet on the 1st Monday and the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

We will be studying birds in a variety of habitats and at different times of year, through walks and field trips to reserves, local and afar, primarily to improve members’ bird recognition but also studying habitat and bird-song, and photoing where possible.

Members bird-recognition skills vary greatly, some expert, some novices. All are welcome.

All group communications are carried out by email. A mobile phone is also an important aid to contact whilst on field trips.

We travel to venues by car. Members share cars and share travel costs.
