Bird Watching

Meets approx. monthly, on variable days. Contact leader or see dates on website for next meeting.

We will be studying birds in a variety of habitats and at different times of year, through walks and field trips to reserves, local and afar. primarily to improve members’ bird recognition but also studying habitat and bird-song, and photoing where possible.
Members bird-recognition skills vary greatly, some expert, some novices. All are welcome.

All group communications are carried out by email.

Mon Oct 14th Field trip to Brandon Marsh reserve of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, near east Coventry
Mon Oct 28th Field trip to the WWT reserve at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire
Mon Nov 11th Field trip to Marsh Lane reserve, Packington, Solihull
Wed Nov 27th Field trip - location to be confirmed
Mon Dec 9th Field trip to either Upton Warren or to Lower Smite Farm Droitwich of the Worcs Wildlife Trust.
