Croquet can be played by people of all ages. It provides mental stimulation and physical exercise, and can be both highly competitive and a source of lasting friendships.
The simplest description of croquet is that it is a game played on a grass court in which the players take it in turns to hit a ball with a mallet, to try to send the balls through hoops.
