Philosophy

This group meets on the 3rd Monday of the Month, from 10:30am to 12.00am

Contact Sara Richards (Click name to send an email)

We aim to talk, discuss, argue, disagree and agree about philosophical material, raising questions like

"What is a just society?"
"Is there a god?"
"Can we believe our own eyes and ears?"

We meet in members' houses. We currently use "Philosophy- the Basics" by Nigel Warburton as a guide.

Next meeting: December 16th at Sara's - Ted Talk: Would you sacrifice one person to save five?
(Reserve: Would you opt for a life of no pain?)
