Bookworms
Our 6 members meet on the last Tuesday of each month at a member's house. Our Librarian, Linda Thomas, acquires sets of books for us to read through the Cornwall Library service. We each choose a selection from their extensive list.
Two of our most recent titles were ‘Tulip Fever’ by Deborah Moggach and ‘The Mermaid & Mr Hancock’ by Imogen Hermes Gowar when we were transported back to the 17th & 18th centuries respectively.
We love to hear other members' views on the books - we certainly don't always agree - this is what makes the discussion lively!
