German Intermediate

German
Two German groups meet on a Friday in Brading: an intermediate group and an advanced group.
The format of both sessions aims to focus on the key skills of speaking, written, and listening comprehension.
We spend about half an hour chatting / discussing a particular topic, half an hour practising aural comprehension, i.e. listening to an audio / video recording and answering questions on it, half an hour exploring a nugget of grammar (some people really like this!), and half an hour reading a text, practising pronunciation, and picking the bones and the vocabulary out of it. It is very informal, and we aim to have fun, make new friends and learn a thing or two at the same time. The sessions run from 10.30 - 12.30 on Friday mornings.
