Theatre Club - Glenys Loyd Williams
The World and the Isle of Wight theatres are opening up at last and we are proposing a theatre club to encourage you to make the most of our great selection of local theatres and a great selection of local talent.

We will email those members a What’s On each month.
When you decide what you want to see, arrange your own tickets and we can arrange to meet beforehand as a group.
Sometimes Gelnys is performing in the play!
Curtain up is usually 7:30.
Allow plenty of time for parking and tipples.
If you arrive late you may not be let in.
Theatres will be following government guidelines. Masks to be worn on entry and exit. Sanitizers used. Toilet facilities.

Bembridge Little Theatre Club.
We perform in the modern and airy Village Hall. Nice stage. Wine, soft drink, tea/coffee available.
12th-14th August. ‘A Bard in the Hand’ by Maureen Sullivan. This is a fun comedy which includes a range of Shakespeare’s characters in no particular order. Beautiful costumes. Tickets £8. 0784 1950

Glenys will be going on the 14th.
Apollo Theatre, Newport, ‘Ladies in Lavender’ original screenplay by Charles Dance, adapted for the stage by Shaun McKenna. You may have seen the wonderful film with Judy Dench and Maggie Smith. 17th/18th September and
21st- 25th September.
Set just before World War II in sleepy Cornwall. 2 elderly sisters discover a young foreign man washed up on the beach. Beautiful dialogue and set.
