Isle of Skye

Events

We meet at 2 p.m. on the last Friday of every month at the West Highland College on Struan Road, Portree. On each occasion there is a guest speaker but now and again we hold internal events such as annual general meetings, quizzes, group presentations, etc. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are always available.

Non members are welcome at our Monthly meetings, but we do ask them to make a small donation towards the cost of the hire of the room (as well as for the tea and coffee).

Our Annual fee is only £15.00 which is reduced for those joining during the year as follows: £10 for anyone joining after 4 months into the membership period and £5 for anyone joining after 8 months. The membership year begins on 11th March.

All Monthly meetings and group events are free to members. Special events or outings may incur charges.

Non-members who might be considering joining Skye U3A may attend an event free of charge, after which they can either become members or attend any event for a fee of £3 per event provided prior notification is received of intention to attend.
