Joining Huntingdon U3A

Huntingdon U3A

Think you might be interested in Huntingdon U3A?

U3A is one of the largest groups in Huntingdon but don’t let the size put you off! We meet up in groups of all shapes and sizes from a handful of people through to larger monthly get togethers. U3A is all about carrying on learning - in a very informal, interest–led way based on you doing as little or as much as suits. So whether you’d like to go walking, trace your family history, discover geocaching or develop your artistic skills, there’s something for everyone.

We’ve currently got well over 50 groups running covering a wide range of activities so there’s bound to be something to catch your eye. The groups are all self-managed – no qualifications needed or given! For a lot of people it’s a good way to meet new friends but it’s up to you how many groups you want to get involved with. We have a programme of speakers at our monthly open meetings and these are a great way of catching up with other members over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

If you really want to see what U3A is all about, have a good look around this website. You’ll see details of all the groups currently running and the Gallery will show you photos of what goes on. You can always drop into one of our meetings (3rd Wednesday of each month, 2.30pm, Methodist Church in Huntingdon) – just let the reception team know that you are interested in U3A and they will make sure someone from the New Members Team has a chat with you.

Whatever you want from U3A – give it a go!

You can download an application form from the Welcome Page or use the "click me to send a message" button and I’ll send you everything by post
