Ukulele

I bought my first ukelele 5 years ago and it stayed in its case until 2 years ago when I started to strum it and loved the tone of the Tenor Ukelele. Having been a piano teacher before I changed career I found myself leading a group of 8 proficient players and we played for a Rotary Club function in Feb 2016. We now have around 24 members (2 members sometimes play along on the accordion and the guitar) and we have done several gigs. I have since bought another ukelele and a banjolele too. If you can play a bass ukelele we would love to hear from you.

We practice every Tuesday from 0930-1200 (short break in the middle) at the Medway Centre on Coneygear Road, Huntingdon. No previous experience or musical knowledge is necessary and we are able to loan you a ukelele to begin with. For further details contact Marie-Ann Sykes.
