The Racketball group meets at Rayleigh Leisure Centre at 9.40 every other Thursday at 9.40 for an hour.
Our Racketball group has now been in existence for round-about 18 months and has been very successful in that we still have all but one of the original members and have gained four newer members of whom only one is female. We are only a small group, only fourteen members in all, five of them ladies and would be good if we had a few more to help even up the numbers.
Racketball provides very good exercise, but it is played at your own pace so you decide how much effort you put into it and hence what you get out of it.
We play at Rayleigh Leisure (just behind Asda) normally every two weeks on a Thursday morning and after playing we adjourn to their café for coffee and debrief?
For those of you who have played tennis or squash or badminton and think you are too old for any activity Racketball may just be the sport you could enjoy.Whether you are male or female and feel that a little exercise might be good for you then come and see us at the Racketball table at the March meeting. We can arrange a trial session to see if it would suit
