Cycling
The Social Cycling group meets on the morning of the 2nd Monday and 4th Friday of each month.
We generally cover about 12 miles (very occasionally 15) and we choose routes that are on quiet roads and tracks.
It is often possible to shorten the distance, using trains or short-cuts. Finding a suitable cafe for an early lunch is as important as the cycling! A rider leader plans the route and chooses the cafe. We have members using conventional hybrid bikes, e bikes and an e tricycle. We choose a pace that suits the slowest rider, and we make sure no-one is left behind!
