City Studies
We meet on the third Thursday of each month (time varies) at the Leader's house where we discuss the arrangements and hear the background to a visit.
This group goes to places of interest in Liverpool. The actual visit takes place the following month.
Members in small groups decide where to go and organise the arrangements for the day, including coffee and lunch breaks, as well as the history or facts relating to where we are going and report back to the group on their findings. The group then visits the area with a greater knowledge of what we are going to see!
Arrangements for coffee and lunch on those trips are a vital part of the visit and where possible we use public transport, or even walk!
