Recorders for Beginners

Ever wanted to play a musical instrument? Making music is great fun and very rewarding. This group caters for complete beginners and those who have played the recorder a little at school. You do not need to be able to read music to join.

We learn and play a variety of musical pieces on the descant, treble and tenor recorders, from pop and folk tunes to renaissance music.

Plastic descant recorders are cheap to buy and may be borrowed.

The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 10.00am at each others' houses. We are a fun group and always make time for a tea and cake break.

Please contact Marian on 01430 431766 or click the bird icon on the right.

If you have a little more recorder-playing experience, please go to the Recorders page.
