Groups

Most of our indoor activity groups are held in a hired venue.

There may be a small charge for group meetings to cover costs.

You may sign up to join any interest group at our monthly Meetings.

Current interest groups are shown below. Click on the link name for more information.

Members may join as many groups as they wish.

If any member would like to join a group which is not already catered for, do let the Chair know at our monthly get-together or by e-mail.

The Timetable Summary below is useful to find a vacant time slot for a new group.

If there is sufficient interest and someone is willing to act as Group Coordinator we'll do our best to make it happen.

You must be a member of Houghton-le-Spring U3A to take part in group activities. Visitors can attend either 2 U3A Meetings or Group Sessions or a combination of both. To attend further they must join the U3A.

We have a reciprocal arrangement with Washington U3A, Washington Village U3A, Wessington U3A and Cestria U3A allowing our members to access any groups run by these U3As, with the agreement of the Group Leader, without having to join that U3A. See Partnership Protocol on top right of Welcome page.
