The Membership Year runs from 1st September to 31 August next year although membership can be renewed or taken out on or after 1st July. The annual subscription for 2019-20 is unchanged at £15, or £12 if you are a member of and pay the full subscription to another U3A. Subscriptions can be paid by bank transfer using the details on the Membership Form or by cash or cheque at a monthly meeting or can be sent or delivered to the Treasurer whose address can be provided on request.
As a registered charity we are able to claim Gift Aid on the subscriptions of members who complete a Gift Aid Declaration. To ensure that we have up to date information to support our Gift Aid claim and also to comply with the new Data Protection Regulations, we need all members to complete the attached Membership Form when you renew or join for the first time. Please print the Form (double-sided if possible) and complete and bring it to one of our Monthly Meetings. You can also obtain and complete a Membership Form at one of our Meetings or we can send you a softcopy Form if you send an email using the Blue Bird link on the top right of this page to request one.
Visitors are welcome to come to one or two of our monthly meetings for a donation of £2 which will be deducted from their subscription if they join subsequently.
Members are sent regular emails about forthcoming events and other matters relating to our U3A. If you have not received these emails please click on the Blue Bird link at the top right of this page and send us an email with your name and membership number so that your email address can be added to our distribution list. Please note that no member's email address is shown in our emails as we use a Google Group.
