Second Intermediate French Group
We now have two established French language groups:
- French Discussion run by Alison Winter and Julia Brudenell which is aimed at intermediates who are confident in speaking French, if somewhat shaky on vocabulary and grammar, and
- French Level 1 run by Jane Wighton which caters for beginners and those who are not confident in speaking the language.
The French Discussion group has been full for some time but we still have people of intermediate standard wanting to join. Accordingly, there may be scope for establishing a second intermediate group if there are sufficient numbers and, crucially, someone willing to act as convenor.
Being a convenor is not an onerous task and the French Discussion group is happy to help by providing ideas and guidance. Any members who are interested in a new Group should contact %Julie Gadsden% who can put them in touch with each other.
