Your Committee

The management of our U3A is vested in the Committee which meets on average every seven weeks to consider and plan all aspects of our activities.

The members of the Committee and their responsibilities for 2019-20, all of which are unchaged from 2018-19, are as follows:

The Committee members were re-elected at the AGM on 5 July 2019.

The roles of Membership Secretary and Treasurer are currently combined because the overlap of these roles make it easier and more effective for them to be carried out by one person.

We are always looking for new Committee members both to take over from those who have served for the maximum terms permitted under our Constitution and to bring new ideas to the running of our U3A. Please either talk to any member of the current Committee to learn about what its work involves. New members of the Committee normally serve as general members in the first year to become familiar with its work and responsibilities.
