To try and fill the gap left by the loss of Ron Leach who ran this Group so effectively for so many years, my idea is to run it as a forum or mutual support network to which members can submit queries and details of problems they are having with their computers.
As I think we must have a considerable depth of computer knowledge among our members, particularly as several of us worked for IBM at some time, we should have the skills to help people with their computers, even if no one individual has all the knowledge that Ron had.
Accordingly if you want help with your computer or tablet please send an email setting out what you need using the Blue Bird link on this page and I will look for a member who can provide the assistance you require.
