THE WINDSOR KNOT by S J Bennett . Highly recommended read. Really enjoyable with great touches of fun but also hard to put down.

The photo is of some members at the February meeting. There are now 12 of us so it will get more difficult to fit us all in in future!
We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at the home of one of our members who has enough room for us all to fit in! We are a very sociable group who manage to stay on the book review for a while before taking “matters arising “ from the book theme on to personal memories and local instances.
Our March book was The Division Bell Mystery by Ellen Wilkinson. It was written in 1932 and we learnt some facts about Parliament which were new to us. However, some of us found the storyline a bit far fetched….,perhaps it more appropriate to that age.

Members have recommended a couple of books
Queenie Malone's Paradise Hotel by Ruth Hogan
The Night Tiger by Yangsze Choo
