2.00 pm 24th May at Memorial Hall, Hathersage. Open Meeting and AGM. Our speaker was Berlie Doherty. The title of her talk was A Writer's Life. Berlie Doherty is the author of over sixty books for adults, teenagers and children. Many of her novels are set in Derbyshire and she talked about her inspirations and read some extracts from her books. Her website is www.berliedoherty.com.
