On June 23rd HVU3A Envsci & Nathist group spent a peaceful and tranquil afternoon visiting the Quaker Community estate in Bamford. We saw the sustainably managed gardens, visited the Hay meadow before it was cut, toured the wild woods and enjoyed tea and biscuits together with a plate of unusual salad leaves from the garden, with our Hosts Linda and Zee-zee. There was so much to see and enjoy that we will look forward to a return visit on another occasion. Pictures by David Allwood.
