Theatre Trips April 2023 to 2024
PRODUCTIONS ATTENDED 2023/24
So far from April 2023 to April 2024 we have run 11 trips attended by 325 people, with more planned.
2023
May: An Inspector Calls by JB Priestley, play. 2 trips organised by Pat, Sheffield Lyceum (4 attended by car) and Bradford Alhambra (15 attended by minibus)
May: Ocean at the End of the Lane, play, Sheffield Lyceum, organised by Roger – 15 attended by minibus
July: Quality Street by JM Barrie, play, Halifax Victoria Theatre, organised by Andrea – 17 attended by minibus & car
Aug: The Pirates of Penzance, International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival, Buxton Opera House, organised by Linda, 43 attended by coach
Oct: 42nd Street (musical), Manchester Opera House. Organised by Andrea. 47 went by coach.
Oct: La Rondine (Puccini's opera), performed by Opera North at Leeds Grand. Organised by Linda, 15 went by minibus.
Nov: The Importance of Being.... Earnest at the Halifax Victoria. Organised by Pat, 23 went by minibus and car.
Dec: White Christmas at the Sheffield Crucible. Organised by Andrea, 46 people went by coach.
2024
Jan: Brief Encounter at the Manchester Royal Exchange. Organised by Roger, 32 people went in two minibuses.
Feb: Cosi Fan Tutte, Mozart's Opera performed by Opera North at the Leeds Grand. Organised by Linda 16 went by minibus.
Feb: Hamilton, the musical at the Manchester Palace Theatre. Organised by Pat, 52 people went by coach and car.
