The group supports the U3A motto of Learn, Laugh, Live. Each month a different member chooses the topic to be discussed and chairs the group.
Topics are sent out one week before the meeting so that others can find out more before the meeting.
No-one is an expert, we exchange ideas and respect each others views.

According to the Human Rights Act, we all have the right to protest.
There have been a number of high profile public protests recently, in particular, Insulate Britain's blocking of parts of the M25, which were in some cases dangerous and illegal.
Are such actions the most effective way to further a cause?
