Vinyl Records

The Vinyl Records group meet every fourth Friday of the month from 10.00 til 12.00 in the David Herbert Room at the George Ward Centre. The key element is having fun … we play each other's vinyl records - just like we used to do in the old days - the objective being to widen our taste, primarily in pop music. And when we have listened, we vote on whether the track would HIT our modern day ‘playlist’ or MISS it - just like we used to watch on Juke Box Jury. We also explore the history of how we have consumed music in the home in all its different formats, with some techie advice along the way.

The group leader is John Langham, but the prime drivers are your own music.
