Family History
Due to the Covid19 outbreak Family History Group face-to-face meetings have been cancelled until it is safe to meet again, however we are now meeting on ZOOM
EXISTING MEMBERS – If you haven’t already done so, let the group leader know if you will be joining the ZOOM sessions as and when you can. Unless you are informed otherwise, these will be afternoon on the 1st Thursday of the month. Note that the meeting link will only be sent to those who have “signed up” as we don’t want to send out unnecessary emails.
NEW MEMBERS – Learn tips and hints about how to research your family tree. Members also share their experience & mistakes. Using ZOOM means there is no restriction on the group size unlike the meetings at the library where we are limited by the number of computers. If you are interested in joining the temporary (we hope) ZOOM group contact the group leader by phone (number on your programme) or via the form on the web site

There are 2 Family History groups. Group A meets on the 1st Tuesday and Group B meets on the 1st Thursday monthly in the afternoon at Hinckley Library. The size of each group is restricted by the number of computers available in the library.
