The Modern World
The Making of the Modern World Group meets in the David Herbert Room at the George Ward Centre on 3rd Monday of each month, 14.00 to 16.00.
Talks and presentations about topics which have shaped our lives or modern society are made by members of the group.
Subjects include inventions, social changes and also the development plus background of modern institutions and processes.
