Interest Group leader: ** Needs a new Leader/Coordinator **
Meeting information: We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 2pm to 4pm.
Meeting venue: Ickenham.
** Allthough being an active group, it has now stopped meeting as it cannot find a leader or organiser. We are therefore still looking someone to take this on before the group has to close forever. If you could help or need more details then contact Margaret.**
The Mind Your Language Group is not focussed on learning one particular language, or studying linguistics theory, but aims to explore all aspects of language, including conversation, accents, language learning, language change, dialects, children’s language, the language of literature and much more…………..
Members are invited to suggest topics that interest them, and to lead a short discussion involving all Group members.
Also, our Group Leader will introduce videos and articles of interesting and unusual language subjects.
This is not a course covering a set syllabus over a given period, but an on-going series of meetings to explore all facets of language…..and to learn and have fun along the way!
