Fraud and Cybercrime Summary Dec 2022
Below is the Fraud and Cybercrime Summary for Hillingdon for the month of December 2022 from the Metropolitan Police Central Specialist Crime Unit – Cyber Partnership, Prevention and Governance Department.
Whilst losses from Online Shopping and Auctions were in top place in December, this is not hugely surprising as Christmas shopping was well under way - but it is interesting to note that Ticket Fraud features in fifth place, a topic that has also featured in the national news today. Please always take care to ensure that you purchase event tickets from a reliable source.
