High Wycombe & District

Antiques & Collectables

antiques.jpg We meet in the small hall in Naphill Village Hall on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 2.00pm to 4.00 p.m. We now operate a waiting list for members who wish to join us.

So far this year we have learnt about Chair Making in High Wycombe and Timbers in English Furniture. Also, the Lladro that 2 of our members collect. We had a half day out to visit Moss End Garden Village where we explored The Old Grain Barn Antiques Centre.

In the months to come we will hear from a friend of one of our members who is a retired auctioneer,
and within our group we will discuss WW1 Memorabilia, Poole Pottery, old family photos, and gramophone records. Most of our Group will be joining the U3A day out in July to Osterley Park and later in the year we have arranged for a private tour of Chenies Manor.
