Country Dancing
Our informal and friendly group meets on the first and second Mondays of each month at 2:00pm at Hickling Barn. We are a self managed learning group kindly supported by our volunteer instructor and her sound assistant.
We generally do a mixture of English country dances, some of which are modern and some which are hundreds of years old. On occasions we try some Scottish country dances and have even constructed our own Maypole which was a great hit at the Hickling Village fete this summer! No experience is necessary and everyone is very welcome to join us.
Hickling Broad U3A members pay a nominal £1 per session, visiting U3A members or non Hickling Broad U3A members wishing to try the group out pay £2.
