--------------------------------------------------------------
Headington U3A was founded in October 1992. U3A is run by members. It holds regular meetings which usually include a talk on a subject of general interest as well as items by individual members, and discussion. Refreshments and opportunity for friendly chat follow the talk.
Self-help study is actively encouraged, often by means of special interest groups. Details are listed from the Groups link above.
The year's programme of general meetings is listed on the Headington U3A programme page or from the Events link above.
More details and updates of meetings are also available on our public Facebook at:

We have links with other U3As in the district. Occasionally joint activities are held, and U3A members are welcome to join special interest groups run by neighbouring branches if there are vacancies. Regional networks of special interest groups convene from time to time to share ideas and experiences.

Headington U3A is a member of the Thames Valley U3A Network which organises Study Days and events for U3A members. Currently held online, some charge a small fee.
