Tuesday 18th October As our planned speaker cannot now attend, author and journalist Emma Scattergood has kindly agreed to lead the day of creative writing and in the morning she will talk about "From Idea to Publication: How Writers Can Find a Market for their Work".
In the afternoon, under Emma's guidance we will have the chance to practise our own use of words and she will address any unanswered questions of how to have our own words published, either in print or digitally.
Author of seven books, Emma is Senior Lecturer in Writing, Editing and Publishing at Bournemouth University, where she is also the Programme Leader of a new MA in Creative Writing and Publishing, and we are delighted that she will be travelling to Hay to see us.
