London History 1
This group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month (not December) and will mainly be visiting places of interest in London, on that day.
Those visits will necessitate walking, on an average of 3 to 4 miles and will involve the whole of the day.
Travel costs to and from London and in the city, will be at the members own expense, as will any refreshments taken during the day.
The weather will also have to be taken into consideration and suitable clothing and footwear should be worn.
This group will visit various areas in London, mainly walking from one place of interest to the next. Planned routes will be taken, where research can be undertaken by the individual.
No specific health and safety issues are foreseen, but any member with any health issues should consult their doctor before taking part.
