The “U3Agers” meet at 2.15pm on the last Monday of each month at 4, Heycroft Road, Hawkwell.
The aim of the group is to enable members who enjoy singing, to get together to sing for enjoyment and pleasure as a group. You do not have to be a good singer. Nobody will make any judgements.
We are sometimes asked to sing as a group in the community which is good fun. This involves all members helping to plan for the event by choosing the music and by regular rehearsals. All members have a say in what and where we sing. We like to hear ideas from our fellow group members. This may be about choice of music or how best download our music and making backing tracks. If you have experience in these areas we would love to hear from you, or maybe you can
play the guitar or keyboards?
If you would like to come along and meet us, a warm welcome awaits. We are a friendly bunch with space for a few more members. We serve tea/coffee/biscuits which we all pay a small sum towards. There is also sometimes a small cost towards printing materials that is shared amongst the group.
Health and Safety issues are not foreseen. Access to and within premises is not normally a problem but members take part at their own risk.
The Group Contact is Linda Folwell who can be contacted by email by clicking on the link above.
