In contrast to a regular book club, when everyone reads the same book, the Literature Group has a Topic for the month and members are free to make their own choice of book to read. At the meeting they can explain how they selected their book, outline the plot, their opinion of the author and whether they would recommend it.
Personal selections often explore the interpretation, diverse nature and extremes of the topic chosen but there are of course no wrong choices.
Our meetings are always interesting, informative and most importantly good fun. If you are interested in one of the other members' choice of books you can make a note about it & you may even be lucky enough to borrow a copy!
Sign up for the Literature Group at the AGM in September on September 19th at Bedhampton Social Hall, 2pm, or come along to any meeting and join in.
