Havant

Groups

Below is our list of Interest Groups. All groups start afresh each September. Groups are self help and self funding and rely entirely on member participation. All group members must also be members of Havant U3A or another U3A with which Havant U3A has a reciprocal arrangement.

Joining a Group

The table below lists the names and dates of each group; click on the group name to find out more information about what the group does, and how to contact the Group Leader. If you would like to join a group please contact the Group Leader.

New Groups

We are always glad to help members form additional groups as their interests develop. If you think there should be a group covering a subject not catered for or if an existing group is full, have you considered starting a new group? We can help you find like-minded individuals and help you set it up. Our Groups Coordinator can help with details of how to do it.

Emsworth & District U3A Groups

We have an agreement with Emsworth & District U3A that we will share membership of any group that is willing, and has vacancies. So Havant members may apply to join Emsworth & District Groups, and Emsworth & District members may apply to join Havant Groups. To apply to join an Emsworth & District Group, go to the Emsworth & District Groups Page on the Emsworth & District U3A website and apply to the Groups Coordinator unless direct contact with the Group Leader has already been established.

For full details of this agreement with Emsworth & District click here Collaboration

Click on a group to see its full details.

If you do not see a group you want to join, have any queries or can think of other Interest Groups we should run, especially if you might volunteer to coordinate it yourself, please contact the Groups Co-ordinator, Robert Child by clicking onto the 'Blue-Bird' icon (top RH corner of this page) to send him a message. The U3A movement offers plenty of advice, encouragement and training to group conveners.
