Short Story Reading
This group hopes to meet again when Covid-19 is no longer such a threat.
Open to anyone able to read two short stories per fortnight and attend regularly.
Vacancies as of March 2020.
The stories chosen are recognised as great examples of the craft.
You will need a copy of "The Story: Love, Loss & The Lives of Women: 100 Great Short Stories" edited by Victoria Hislop.
By discussing the writing and our responses to it, we seek to develop more appreciation of literature, the variety within human nature, and factors linked to good stories.
Meetings are held between 10 and 12 on Wednesdays in The Community Room at Tesco, Ravenside Retail Park, Bexhill TN40 2JS. It remains to be seen if this facility will still be available to us in the future.
Fortnightly meetings from September to June with breaks for Christmas and Easter.
While Paul Burns acts as convenor, the group embraces collaborative learning and sharing responsibilities.
