This gives details of all the activities and support the Third Age Trust, our National U3A, offers. There is also a members' area for which you have to register. There are details in this area of courses etc that are on offer. The Virtual University of the Third Age (vU3A) began in as an idea put forward by a U3A member and its development was supported by the Third Age Trust. It went live in 2009 An important target group for this virtual development includes older people who are unable to get to conventional branches through illness, geographical isolation, personal commitments or caring responsiblities for example.
A free Internet service, not a membership organisation, available to all U3A groups or kindred organisations worldwide. It is the international subject group of the Third Age Trust. A monthly newsletter Signpost is published
We are a group of people who enjoy singing together and learning new music. New members are welcomed, experienced or not. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for anyone to sing. There are no auditions.
