Walking: Longer
Tue Nov 6th The walk will start from the Bull Inn, Three Leg Cross, TN5 7HH. It is a flat walk, some of it around the edge of Bewl Water. Exactly 5 miles. Parking available at the pub if staying for lunch.

Almost all flat with a short incline up a road at the end to the pub. Much of it skirts the reservoir. The pub lunch was ok - they do a 'Codgers' lunch for the over-sixty fives, which is 1 course for £8.50, 2 courses for £9.50 and 3 courses for £11.50. They also have an a la carte menu. The waitress we spoke with said she could not guarantee that the loos would be avaiable as the pub opens at 12 however but I think they will be because in all probability there will be cleaning staff there. However, in case of need, there are public toilets in Ticehurst, immediately to the left of the Duke of York Hotel in the village square. We do not walk through Ticehurst - stopping there would be a pre-arrival precaution.

Menu available at the link below which needs to be typed into your search engine. Please let Richard and Liz know if you are going as soon as possible. Food can be ordered when we arrive.
