Events

Harwich Penisula U3A hold their monthly meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm. These meetings are held at the Waterfront, Dovercourt. The meeting programme of talks is below.

We also have several groups who organise their own events. The programmes for these events are below under the group title.

Mon Sep 23rd4-5 mile WalkingHi all final details for next weeks walk, circular walk starting at Wix village hall car park, 5 miles mixture of track, field and smaller local roads, good walking surfaces for the most part, meet at 10.00 am ish for a 10.15 start, bus stop at entrance to hall car park, recent timetable changes on the 104 route now look to make that route a non goer, but I think the X15 still looks o.k but make sure for yourselves, I have 3 seats available in my car so send me a email if you need a lift, post code for sat navs CO112RR, hope to see you there

Fri Oct 11th6s and 7s WalkingMeet in the car park at Hadleigh (Suffolk) for a 10 15am start. Park at the rear which is the long stay area (it was £2 last time I was there). We will walk to Kersey and back over the fields and along the river.

Tue Dec 3rdNature and WildlifeMeet at Abberton Water Visitor Centre CO2 0EU at 10.30 am for a morning's birdwatching. Drinks and snacks available there plus a good selection of binoculars to buy (would make a good Christmas present). This is an Essex Wildlife Trust reserve and non-members are expected to donate £2 each. Parking is free.
