French Conversation (Intermediate/Advanced)
This group is currently FULL.
The group meets at members’ houses for 2 hours on a Friday morning.
During the first hour, members have a free-flowing discussion in French
about anything and everything; nothing is pre-prepared.
There then follows a break for coffee and biscuits, and in the second hour the group
might either spend some time watching the French news, or reading a
French book together, or simply continuing the earlier conversation.
The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging.
The format of the group is such that a minimum level of intermediate
conversational ability is required; the overall aim is to move as many
members as possible towards an advanced level.
