BOULEZ VOUS?
A Pétanque group – French Boules has now started at the ‘Bouledrome’ installation at the Pierhead, next to Betty's. We meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Having set out last year to establish the interest and feasibility to develop the U3A group, we will be ask for a £10 per person subscription, which will automatically provide membership of Harrogate MPC. This is to enhance the insurance and liability cover for members, and provide access to all the other activities and events provided by the Club.
This is one of the most popular outdoor activities in U3A groups around the country and is gaining popularity in Harrogate.
Pétanque is a very accessible and sociable sport for all ages and abilities. Equipment will be supplied from the Oxfam Shop, with coaching provided by experienced players from the local Club.
