Italian Conversation Group 1
Our Italian Conversation Class is currently being held every week.
Lessons are held for two weeks online on Wednesday and Thursday mornings and two weeks at the Crown Hotel Harrogate on alternate Wednesday mornings.
I give individual lessons to all 11 Class members lasting half an hour and set a little homework between lessons. I stress the importance of studying a little every day and cultivating a study habit. Being part of a small learning group, individuals soon become more secure and lose their inhibitions in this non threatening atmosphere.
I point out that making errors is quite acceptable and is part of the learning process. There is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere within the Class and I fervently believe that members learn from each other as well as from myself.
The emphasis will be very much on Conversation, building up confidence and having fun in exploring this beautiful language. In each session I devote a little time to the grammar and developing a vocabulary bank.
We play games to reinforce what we have learned.

There will be an opportunity to visit Italy for a few days once a year to put into practice what we have learned in Class.
We also visit Italian restaurants at the beginning and end of the year
